Why does lando wear hans clothes
It's from the old army basically, so it's the same uniforms. The "real" answer means that Lando was simply more conservatively dressed than usual; the style is indeed more befitting of Han's rugged personality than the incredibly suave, cape-wearing Lando Calrissian.
While the answer may clear up one question, it creates many more, like why Han Solo of all people is traveling around in an army uniform, why Lando would take the time to snag his own prior to departing Cloud City, why he'd wear it when he's preparing to go undercover, and why he doesn't wear it again in Return if the Jedi , where he's actually a general.
Given Billy Dee Williams specifically mentions being a general in his answer, it's possible, though unlikely, that he misunderstood the question and was referring to Return of the Jedi. Supposing Lando didn't take his clothes from the Millennium Falcon after losing it to Han and Han somehow hadn't ditched all of them , Lando might have had some clothes remaining somewhere on the ship.
This death may seem insignificant, but A New Hope sees Luke join the rebellion, and on the Death Star trench run, he gets given the call sign Red Five.
Throughout the original trilogy, R2-D2 and C-3PO are constants, with A New Hope following the pair a lot of the time, and the two getting into all sorts of antics together otherwise. But, as iconic as they are, one thing so many fans miss over the years is that 'goldenrod' is not all golden, his right leg is half silver.
It is the Mandela Effect at its finest in Star Wars , and both so evident yet so missable. The passing of the legend that is Carrie Fisher was heartbreaking to all, and it came right before her appearance in The Last Jedi , making her role in that movie all the more sad to watch. However, the Leia actress was not the only one in her family to appear in the movie, alongside her daughter Billie Lourd, Carrie Fisher's beloved dog Gary got an appearance as a pet-like alien in the background of Canto Bight.
Revenge Of The Sith is undoubtedly the best of the prequel films. There is so much to absorb throughout the movie, both in subtle details and in terms of the grand scheme of the franchise. For a split second in the background, a clone trooper can be seen beating up a droid with straight-up punches. That's definitely one way to deal with a clanker. Contrary to what some may believe, George Lucas made other movies before his venture into the Galaxy far, far away. Battle droids, stormtroopers, clones, and First Order stormtroopers have all managed to have the designation, notably clone commander Baraca CT Cellblock is where Luke and Han claimed to be taking Chewbacca.
It's an awful coincidence that he decided to have a change of clothes and happens to look like Han's. Has it got something to do with how he was piloting the Falcon or is there a production reason for this? Does the novel state than Lando was wearing Han's clothes or acknowledge that he dressed in clothes similar to Han's?
Host: The real answer is that costume designer John Mollo decided to put him in the same clothes didn't mean anything as they [Harrison Ford and Billy Dee Williams] were actually sized differently. If you look at Han Solo's pants he's got those red marks on them and stuff it's from the old army basically, so it's the same uniforms. Billy Dee Williams: Yeah we're all in the army. Host: I think we should start a new rumour that you left all your clothes on Cloud City because you had to get out of there so fast and Han had plenty of clothes on the Falcon.
How's that work for everybody? That's my new answer. Lando left Cloud City with nothing but the clothes on his back. He was on the Falcon where Han presumably kept all his clothes. He borrowed Han's clothes since carbonite Han doesn't need them. Hard to say in the storyline. From the filmmaker's perspective though Plus, Han's outfits just look cool. Lando's first outfit would look a bit fruity on the Millennium Falcon I mean, this is Star Wars, there's no place for a caped crusader.
