I think UDAN scheme got attantion for Jalgaon as unserved airport and awarded 1st flight starts in September as per media resources. Air Deccan got contract and they will start service soon but don't know exact date of 1st flight. Also, they are not taking bookings as they didn't finalise date of fiights. Please think to Make it operational at least on trail basis.

It is very very disgusting that after 69 years of freedom there is no real development in the Passanger Transport Aviation in Maharashtra. So many Chief Ministers took the seats and they did nothing for the Air passangers from Maharashtra. But none of these operating for Passangers. Not even from Pune or Nagpur. Very very sad and frustating.

There are thousands are people from Konkan area working in Gulf but no chief minister is trying get Local or International Airport for them. I do agree that the airport has improved but cleanliness and mosquitoes leave a lot to be desired. Noise and mosquitoes is a great combo at night to give you a solid headache the next day through. Commercial airport and dam on tapi river is highly required for the developement of amravati region, as the water can be used for irrigation,drinking,industrial purpose, as tapi is one of the biggest river in the district, the dam must be consturcted on it as it will be very helpful for industrial needs,irrigation of agricultural area and drinking water in amravati distirct and airport is required as lot of people travel to pune,mumbai,hyderbad,chennai,bangalore,ahemadabad,surat,bhopal,indore,jabalpur, etc andto facilitate the industry.

Who will regret for "No flight to and fro Jalgaon". Why is this airport built wasting crores of tax payers' money?
